cancer journey

This past year has been nothing short of life-changing experiences. From quitting my job of 5 years to being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (cancer).

At first, cancer was a disease that I was mad at, played victim to and was depressed about. But through the grace of God, family and friends, I realized that I was going through this to make me stronger, to find my purpose, and to be happy with who I am as an individual.

When I started this journey, I wanted to keep it as private as possible but as I continued, there was something calling me to document it. It started out that I would keep this for me and my family but I knew that someone out there could watch this video and have hope.

Cancer taught me to be fighter, to never give up and to know that you’re not only wanted in this world but needed. So although cancer can kick my ass, I’m happy to say that I kicked it’s. Your girl is cancer free at 26 years old and is ready to take on whatever the world wants to throw at her.
